How the payment flows
You enter your Safaricom number and amount, then approve an STK push prompt on your phone. The moment it confirms, your Velo balance is topped up and you can spend it on any order.
What the confirmation message shows
Payments are handled by a licensed aggregator (IntaSend), so your M-Pesa confirmation shows the aggregator's business name rather than "Velo". That's normal — the funds are settled to the service afterwards.
Staying safe
- Never share your M-Pesa PIN with anyone — you only ever enter it on your own phone's prompt.
- Keep your payment confirmation reference in case a top-up ever needs review.
- Prefer services that hold your money as a spendable balance and show pricing before you pay.
